Noah Fant Fantasy Outlook 2021
In this article, we are going to cover the Noah Fant fantasy outlook for 2021. We will share where we think he will rank amongst all tight ends in 2021. Should you buy, hold or sell? Will Noah Fant be more or less valuable in 2022? Do we think he is going to be a league winner, weekly starter, flex play, spot starter, dark horse or dart throw? Included is all of this as well as the personal opinions of the 13 people that participated from the RotoHeat staff.
Noah Fant Fantasy Outlook 2021: What Is His Weekly Playability?
Most of the team (11 of 13) feel that Noah Fant is worthy of a weekly start in 10-12 manager fantasy football leagues. There was a wide range of feelings on him, even amongst those who had him as a weekly starter.
One who had him as a starter this year said “Should have a good chance at taking a step forward this season with defenses focused on the WR group. Inconsistency should make him a TE2, borderline TE1, for the season” while another was even higher on him “Listen, I have been a Noah Fant fan since the beginning. This guy is an absolute monster. I think with an improved Broncos offense, he could find himself into the ELITE category.”
League Winner: 1
Weekly Flex: 1
Spot Starter: 1
Weekly Starter: 9
The person on the team who is lowest on him said “3rd year TE breakout? I don’t see it. Denver is a team with crappy QB play regardless, chock full of talented pass catchers and a good defense. None of that is good for Fant.”
Noah Fant Fantasy Outlook 2021: More, Same or Less Valuable in 2022 Dynasty Offseason?
Overall, we feel that Noah Fant will have about the same value next season as he does now. He currently sits at TE8 in FantasyPros PPR Draft Positional ADP, and TE7 in RotoHeat SF Dynasty Positional ADP.
As one team member put it, “He has all the ability in the world to be a top-6 TE, but with Jeudy, Sutton, two RBs, and an inconsistent Drew Lock, we just can not be confident in his usage until we see how the Broncos game plan.”
Noah Fant Fantasy Outlook 2021: Buy, Sell or Hold?
Most of the team is buying Fant where they can. We feel that he has the skillset of a top tight end in the NFL, but his current offense is not doing him many favors. Their QB situation does not feel resolved for the long-term, as they are a run-first team and have other quality weapons at WR.
One team member said “Still a great talent. Situation has a lot of competition, but once he has a QB that figures it out, the sky is the limit. Buying where I can, but most are not selling. Great long term NFL starter.” and that sums up quite well the general feelings we have on him.
Noah Fant Fantasy Outlook 2021: Where Will He Rank vs. All Tight Ends?
Most fantasy team managers feel that tight end is a hard position to presuppose where most of the players will fall due to the volatility of the position week to week. That is no different with Noah Fant. Eleven of us have him falling somewhere in the TE7-TE18 range.
Two had him in the TE4-6 range, four in the TE7-9 range, four in the TE10-12 range, three in the TE13-18 range, and one in the TE19-24 range.
One of those who had him in the TE10-12 range said “At best the number 3 option on a Drew Lock offense. Yet another TE that will have trouble showing consistency week to week” and that was echoed throughout a lot of the comments, whether high on him or not this year. When we averaged it out we feel as a group that he will be in the TE 9-13 range.
High: TE 4
Low: TE 24
Noah Fant Fantasy Outlook 2021: Conclusion
Overall the team is very high on Noah Fant. Our feelings on where he ends up at end of the season rankings would be higher if we had more faith in his quarterback situation. He has everything you would want in a receiving tight end, and turning only 23 in November, he has a very bright future in the league and on fantasy squads.
