Currently, Ja’Marr Chase has almost TWICE as many targets as any other Bengals player, let that sink in. Hip injuries can be tricky to recover from, some can get you back out on the field in just a couple weeks, some players go to IR for them.
Because of the uncertainty, you need to capitalize on this injury by starting BOTH Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd weekly. Both were playable weekly for sure but you’d see weeks of single digit fantasy production. If we look at the pass-catchers on this offense, Higgins and Boyd were averaging around 5-6 a week, with Chase more like 10-15. That being said, Hurst is still here and Mixon will see some as well but Higgins and Boyd are both potentially doubling their weekly targets in Chases’ absence.

Don’t let these fantasy points slip through your hands, I made a move just before the news broke to acquire Boyd because he’s a solid WR3 most weeks and now I can see WR2 value with WR1 upside, depending on the matchup. And looking at the next month, we have a bye in there but some juicy matchups for this receiving core!
