The NFL trade deadline is October 29th at 4PM EST and there have been a lot of rumors swirling about guys that could be moved. I will be open, the trades I talk about in this article may not be likely to happen, but they could help player values of both the traded and those that would reap the benefits of more volume.

Robby Anderson to the New Orleans Saints

Rumors recently came out that the Jets were willing to trade Robby Anderson after their 1-5 start. There are a number of teams that could use a downfield threat. Anderson has teased us many times, but QB play has been a roller coaster for the Jets over the past couple seasons.

The Saints may have the best receiver in the league in Michael Thomas, but their #2, Ted Ginn, leaves a lot to be desired at this point of his career. Anderson would be a huge upgrade and would benefit in moving to a more efficient offense. Ginn currently has an aDOT of 14.4 yards and has converted 432 air yards into 254 receiving yards. Anderson has also struggled, turning 555 air yards into just 266 yards on a 15 aDOT. Ginn has undoubtedly had the better QB play and I think Anderson could thrive in this offense.

Looking at the New York Jets, there is no obvious benefactor, but if I had to guess, Chris Herndon could be the guy that sees the biggest boost when he returns (possibly this week) from his hamstring injury.
