ORCHARD PARK, NEW YORK – OCTOBER 19: Clyde Edwards-Helaire #25 of the Kansas City Chiefs runs the ball against A.J. Klein #54 of the Buffalo Bills during the second half at Bills Stadium on October 19, 2020 in Orchard Park, New York. (Photo by Bryan M. Bennett/Getty Images)

IDP Player to Help You Win #1: AJ Klein – Linebacker Buffalo Bills

Klein came in after an injury to Matt Milano, and has left it all on the field. Since taking over in week 6, Klein’s been on fire with 27 tackles, 5 assists, 2 TFLs and 3.5 sacks. Klein may not be the starter in buffalo after 2020 but he has made the most of his opportunity, and if you’re a contending team that needs linebacker help, or a boost at your linebacker position, I’d offer the guy a 3rd for a 1/2 season rental and not feel the least bit bad about it.

EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY – NOVEMBER 04: Free safety Jabrill Peppers #21 of the New York Giants hits wide receiver Randall Cobb #18 of the Dallas Cowboys and causes a fumble in the second quarter of the game at MetLife Stadium on November 04, 2019 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. IDP Players to Help You Win #2/3: Jabrill Peppers/Logan Ryan – New York Giants

Peppers is back to his old ways the last 3 weeks, scoring double digit fantasy points and pushing him into the must-start category, and at just 25 years old he is a guy you can buy for now and for the future. Ryan, on the other hand has had a bit of an up and down 2020 but is still top 5 at the cornerback position with 47 tackles, 1 interception and a sack on the year.

IDP Players to Buy for the future: Ashtyn Davis, Isaiah Simmons and Kenneth Murray

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – SEPTEMBER 13: San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (85) battles with Arizona Cardinals linebacker Isaiah Simmons (48) during the NFL game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals on September 13, 2020, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Ashtyn Davis has taken over at safety and begun to pick up steam, have 100% snap count the last few weeks. Davis, if you remember correctly was a guy our Paul Veldboom was big on pre-season, and it appears that take is paying off! Isaiah Simmons has been on the field since week 1 but the way the Cardinals deploy their defenders, they put the best athletes out there, and let them go make plays. So far this season, Simmons has a sack, an interception and 30 total tackles, and his snap count is increasing on a week to week basis. Kenneth Murray has been a tackle machine to this point, notching 55 total tackles and a tackle for loss.

During the course of the episode, the team talks about these players and more but make sure to keep an eye on our IDP rankings here on Rotoheat.com!
