Alabama & Georgia – SEC Juggernauts?

On this weeks episode of the Devy Hour, Brad Menendez & Paul Veldboom talk all things Bama and Georgia! We breakdown the staff of each school as well as players you’ll want to target and avoid in your Devy leagues.

ATLANTA, GA – JANUARY 08: Head coach Nick Saban of the Alabama Crimson Tide holds the trophy while celebrating with his team after defeating the Georgia Bulldogs in overtime to win the CFP National Championship presented by AT&T at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on January 8, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. Alabama, a team that’s produced 41 players drafted over the last 4 NFL drafts has a bevy of talent at every position, from Bryce Young to Jaylen Waddle this team has plenty of options and being led by Nick Saban never hurts as he has an eye for talent. They deploy a multiple front defense, where the players have to be able to handle different assignments in the same game, and have been able to develop talents like linebacker Dylan Moses into game-changing IDP assets.

Kirby Smart over in Georgia brings a tough defense, being top 10 in the FBS in least amount of points allowed means IDP talent galore on the Bulldogs, with 7 returning starters to their version of the multiple front defense. On offense, another team in the SEC that is good at acquiring talent one the offensive side as well, producing plenty of fantasy-relevant offensive players in the last decade and more!

The only thing that we want to make sure we note is neither Alabama or Georgia really wows you with tight end, and unfortunately how they use the tight end is the reason for that, asking for much more blocking than pass-catching.
