Week 13 Waiver Wire adds for Fantasy Football 2022
We have reached a point of the season, where a win can clinch a playoff spot, or a loss can crush any playoff hope. In some cases, the latter happens, purely because of an in-game injury. This makes winning even more important as playoffs, and a possible championship can be on the line. For many fantasy managers, the next few weeks are already like playoff games. If you lose, you are out of the big dance.
When it comes to the rosters of any team in the running for a ‘ship, managers need to keep tinkering in order to put the best possible players in their lineup. This is what keeps the waiver wire interesting and relevant for the entire season. The Week 13 waiver wire is as important as any other week, if not even more so. We have just two teams on a bye this week: The Panthers and the Cardinals. This might leave some owners scrambling for QB, RB, or WR help. Luckily, there is help on the Week 13 waiver wire.
Week 13 Waiver Wire Adds – Quarterbacks
If you have Kyler Murray and need a replacement for Week 13, Mike White should be one of the guys you are prioritizing. Historically, Mike White has not started a lot of games, but in 4 starts he has two 3-touchdown games, with 315 passing yards or more. Against the Vikings, who allow the fifth-most points to opposing QBs, Mike White could be a week-winner off the Week 13 waiver wire.
Another QB option is Jared Goff. He has a decent floor, which will be unlikely to kill you for fantasy. Against the Jaguars, which is a good matchup, he could be more than serviceable, especially if your normal starter is on bye or faces a tough matchup.
Week 13 Waiver Wire Adds – Running Backs
The Bus is back! No, not Jerome Bettis…The Gus Bus! Gus Edwards has returned from injury for the second time this season, and he clearly seems to be the favored RB for the Ravens as long as JK Dobbins is not on the field. If you pick him up, he can be put right into your starting lineup.
If Edwards is not available, you might want to take an outside shot at Zonovan Knight from the Jets. Michael Carter might not be ready to play in Week 13, leaving the door open for Knight to take the bulk of the carries, for a team that had James Robinson as a healthy scratch in Week 12.
Another intriguing player, that could perform big off the Week 13 waiver wire, is JaMycal Hasty. Travis Etienne, just like Michael Carter, might not be entirely ready to go this week, although Etienne is trending toward playing. If Etienne cannot go, Hasty could see both carries and receptions as a running back with a strong all-around skill set.
Speaking of a running back with a good all-around skill set, Kyren Williams is the next RB on this list. Williams seems to be getting a decent amount of work in the passing game and could develop during the back end of the season.

Week 13 Waiver Wire Adds – Wide Receivers
For a receiving core that looked to be one of the best in the league when the season started, with Kupp, Allen Robinson, Van Jefferson, and possibly Odell Beckham Jr., injuries have ravaged this team, and now Van Jefferson is the #1 receiver for the Rams. He saw 7 targets in Week 12 and could see similar or more numbers this coming week. Jefferson is a speculative add, that mostly comes into play if QB Matt Stafford is back.
Another speculative add is Jameson Williams. This rookie wide receiver is as explosive as they come in the NFL. He has been injured all season but could come back in Week 13. His speed could be a game-changer for the Lions and someone who could explode in the fantasy playoffs.
With Jameson Williams figuring on this Week 13 waiver wire list, we might as well talk about another wide receiver who is coming off of injury and who might play a role in the fantasy playoffs. I am talking about Odell Beckham Jr. The hyper-talented wide receiver seems to have several suitors in place and could provide a boost for fantasy managers in 2022 like he did last season when he came in late with the Rams.
If you are looking for a solid receiver, who could provide you with a decent stat line without doing anything sexy, Mack Hollins is your guy. It seems like every other week, Hollins produces big plays, so if you are in a tight spot at WR, you can plug Hollins into your lineup and hope you hit one of those good weeks.
We wanted to see it for another week, and Treylon Burks delivered. He is starting to work his way into the Titans’ offense and is fast becoming the primary target in the passing game. He has AJ Brown-like skills and could become even better in the fantasy playoffs.
The last receiver on the Week 13 waiver wire list is someone who produced a week-winning stat line in Week 12. That wide receiver is Zay Jones. With Christian Kirk largely unproductive, Zay Jones stepped up against the Ravens, with 11 receptions and 145 yards. This might be an indication of things to come, and if it is, you do not want to miss out on this production in the fantasy playoffs.

Week 13 Waiver Wire Adds – Tight End
When it comes to the waiver wire for tight ends, there are not a lot of pretty options available at the moment. If you do need one, look to Evan Engram. He had a down week in Week 12 but has had a decent season, currently sitting at TE17 on the season.
While we are dwelling on up-and-down tight ends, Juwan Johnson comes to mind. This player is almost entirely dependent on getting a touchdown, but if you are desperately in need of a tight end, Johnson is an option.
These 13 players are your best options on the Week 13 waiver wire. Try your best to pick up who you need!
