Tyler Lockett is a Seahawk for potentially another 4 years, agreeing to a four-year, $69.2 million dollar extension. Per Spotrac.com, Lockett was set to make a base salary of $11 million before the extension. In his six seasons, Tyler Lockett has amassed 376 receptions, 4,892 yards and 37 touchdowns. Lockett has been a consistently trustworthy target for Russell Wilson, not dipping below 74% catch rate over the last three seasons.

From a fantasy perspective, Lockett has firmly kept himself in the WR2 category, even with the emergence of D.K. Metcalf, and should keep himself in that range as long as Wilson is under center. At 28 years old, Lockett could still give you solid production for at least another 3-4 seasons, but as he’s a smaller wideout, that game is typically predicating on the big play, if he loses a step that could drastically change his fantasy trajectory!
