The NFL’s 32 owners have voted to approve the principle elements of a new collective bargaining agreement.
The proposal will be sent to the NFLPA’s 32 player representatives. If the player reps provide an approval rate of 67% or higher, the agreement will be sent to the entire player pool for vote and potential ratification. In order to ratify the deal, the majority rules within the player pool.
The new CBA reportly contains a 17 game regualr season schedule and a playoff format that expands to 7 team per Conference.
