The Super Bowl is over, and it is draft season here at RotoHeat! You want information right now, and I’m here to help you choose your Devy QBs with my BOLD Top 10 DEVY Quarterbacks in 2021. The order could change a little bit, but as of now, this is where I see things playing out.

#1 of My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021

1) Spencer Rattler – 6’ 1” 205 lbs – Oklahoma

My #1 Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterback was the starter as a redshirt freshman last year. How did he do in his first year under center for the Sooners? 214 of 317 for 67.5% completion rate for 3,031 yards. He had 28 TDs against only 7 INTs. He shows great mobility in avoiding sacks while adding 160 yards rushing and 6 more TDs. I think he will join a great tradition of 1st round NFL Draft QBs.

2)Sam Howell – 6’ 1” 225lbs – North Carolina

My #2 Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterback should also be a Heisman Candidate. Sam also started as a true freshman. My first thought was he reminds me of Baker Mayfield, however Howell did better in every statistical category during his sophomore year. He went from 61.4% completion rate to 68.1% completion rate. His yards per attempt went from 8.6 to 10.3. He had an incredible 68 TDs to only 14 INTs over his 2 years. There were 5 more TDs via rushing during his sophomore year. He also can hit the Draft mother-load with a very respectable Junior year in 2021. He is NFL Draft eligible in 2022.

#3 of My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021

3)Jayden Daniels – 6’ 3” 185lbs – Arizona State

My #3 Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterback was also a starter as a true freshman. They don’t throw the ball as much as some other PAC 12 teams, but he is efficient. Freshman stats had him going 205 of 338 for 60.7% completion rate for 2,943 yards. The surprising number was 17 TDs to only 2 INTs. if you in another 355 yards rushing with 3 more TDs, then you got yourself a very decent 1st round pick in your 2021 Superflex Devy draft!

#4 of My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021

4) Graham Mertz – 6’ 3” 215 lbs – Wisconson

Mertz is one of my favorites! My #4’s story is cool, and Graham deserves to be on my Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterback list! In his redshirt freshman year of 2020, he came in for the injured Jack Coan, and in his first game he set the school record for completion percentage, going 20-21 for 248 yards and 5 TDs! In his 7 games played, he completed 118 of 193 passes for 1,238 yards, 9 TDs and 5 INTs. He is one I am going after and is eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft.

#5 of My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021

5) Kedon Slovis – 6’ 2” 200lbs – USC

My #5 Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterback should be a Heisman Trophy Candidate. Kedon has a very nice accurate ball. He came in and started as a true freshman and completed 282 out of 392 passes (71.9%) for 3,502 yards. That is a little low in the passing yards per attempt at 8.9, and all his numbers went down in his sophomore year this past year. Over his 2 years, he has 47 TDs and 16 INTs. He did only play 6 games though, so it was hard to get any rhythm going. 2021 will be Kedon’s make or break year. I have faith. He is NFL Draft eligible in 2022.

#6 on My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021

6) DJ Uiagalelei – 6’ 4” 250lbs – Clemson

My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021

My #6 Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterback will get his turn to shine this coming year. After filling in for Trevor Lawrence when Trevor was out due to COVID, DJ went 78 of 117 for a 66.7% and 914 yards. He also had 5 TDs and zero INTs. He is a big guy and his arm is special. I like how he keeps his eyes downfield while avoiding the rush, and also added 4 rushing TDs. You will have to wait until at least 2023 to have him on your active roster, but all good things are worth the wait!

#7 of My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021

7) Bryce Young – 6’ 0” 194 lbs – Alabama

My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021

As a true freshman last year, my #7 Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterback had very little field time because of the COVID restricting Spring practice and Mac Jones play. If not for COVID, we might not have ever really heard of Mac Jones, as Bryce Young would have probably won the job. This 5 star recruit as a high school senior had 4,528 passing yards with 58 TDs and just 6 INTs. He is very athletic (1,000+ rushing yards in high school) and ready to lead the Tide for the next 2+ years. Don’t wait to stash him!

#8 of My Bold Devy Top 10 Quarterbacks for 2021

8) CJ Stroud – 6’ 3” 205 lbs – Ohio State

As a high school senior, this next player on my Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks had 3,878 yards passing, 47 TDs, and 9 INTs. He didn’t play much as a true freshman this past year, but turned 1 play into a 48 yard rushing touchdown. He has the inside track to start in 2021, and if he performs as many think he will in the outstanding Buckeyes program, he will be a 1st round NFL Draft QB in as early as 2022.

#9 of My Bold Devy Top 10 Quarterbacks for 2021

9) Max Duggan – 6’ 2” 201 lbs – TCU

Here is another true freshman starter at #9 of my Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterback list. He has finished 2 years with close to 2,000 yards passing and 500 yards rushing. He increased his completion percentage from 53.4% to 60.8% from freshman to sophomore year. He has accounted for 41 TDs between passing and rushing in his two years. Although he still has room to grow, he’s definitely a guy to keep your eye on, and in those deeper Devy Leagues, draft him and stash him!

#10 in My Bold Devy Top 10 Quarterbacks for 2021

10) Harrison Bailey – 6’ 5” 225 lbs – Tennessee

My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021
My Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterbacks for 2021

My #10 QB on my Bold Top 10 Devy Quarterback list has work to do, and if Tennessee can get a line in front of him, I think he will deliver. He got some action in his true freshman year of 2020. Bailey went 48 of 68 for 578 yards with 4 TDs and 2 INTs. Bailey has a nice touch and is very accurate, and he even can scramble, though he does not look fluid to me, but continued to pick up yards. He will have competition this year from incoming dual threat freshman Kaidon Salter, but that can also bring out the best! A player to watch.
