The move on bullpen arms continues after the Miami Marlins came to an agreement to send longtime relief pitcher Sergio Romo to the Minnesota Twins.

The home run mashing Twins were in need of bullpen arms, like all other teams that are in the race, and decided to send first baseman Lewin Diaz to the Marlins for Romo, right-hander Chris Vallimont and a player to be named later.

The 36 year old reliever, with 12 years of experience, has 17 saves in 38 appearances in 2019. His ERA is 3.58 compared to his career 2.91 that he has had with the Giants, Dodgers, Rays & Marlins.
