High School

Trask attended Manvel High School in Manvel, Texas, graduating in the class of 2016. 247 Sports had Trask as a 3-star recruit. He threw for 1,737 yards and 17 touchdowns in three years in high school. He committed to play college football at the University of Florida. His other offers were from Lamar, McNeese State, and Houston Baptist.

College

Trask did not see any action his first two years at Florida. In 2018, he played in three games. Trask took over as the starting QB for the Gators in 2019. On December 12, 2020, Trask set the UF single-season touchdown passing record with 43. Considering some of the past University of Florida Quarterbacks, that is quite the accomplishment. In 27 games with the Gators, Trask threw for 7,386 yards, 69 scores, and only 15 interceptions. In his senior season, he was a Heisman Trophy finalist, eventually losing to DeVonta Smith from Alabama.

NFL

Kyle Trask has a good frame, being 6’5″ and weighing 239 pounds. The RotoHeat team believes he has a strong arm and can throw the deep ball. Trask has shown some improvement over the last couple of years, however he still should be considered a raw prospect and might need some time to develop in the NFL. The landing spot will be important for Kyle Trask, as he might need an experienced Quarterback to learn from and/or a coach to help bring him along. He has the potential to be a good Quarterback in the NFL, but it just might take some patience while you stash him on your roster.
