Colts Retain WR TY Hilton on a 1-Year Deal.

The Indianapolis Colts are reported to have brought back WR TY Hilton per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The deal has been reported to a be a 1-year, $10 million deal, including $8 million guaranteed. Hilton, the 31-year old took to Twitter to share his appreciation for the Colts fans.

Hilton will stay in Indianapolis for at least one more season, catching passes from Carson Wentz after one season working with Philip Rivers. Each of Hilton’s five 1,000-yard seasons came with Andrew Luck, but he did play well over the final six weeks of the 2020 regular season, catching 27 passes for 435 yards and five TDs. Hilton won’t necessarily see an uptick on last year’s average of 6.2 targets per game, but the terms of the contract, it seems to indicate that Indianapolis Colts still views him as a reliable starter.
