College
After redshirting his first year at Oklahoma State in 2017, Hubbard played in 13 games in 2018. He totaled 969 scrimmage yards on 146 touches and scored 9 touchdowns. He returned as Oklahoma State’s starting running back in 2019 and was the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year after rushing for over 2,000 yards and scoring 21 times.
Despite speculation that he would declare for the 2020 NFL Draft after this season, Hubbard announced that he would return to school for his redshirt junior year in 2020. His 2020 season was limited to 7 games due to his decision to opt out of the remainder of the season in order to focus on preparing for the 2021 NFL Draft. Hubbard totaled 677 yards on 141 touches and scored 6 times this season for the Cowboys.
NFL
Chuba Hubbard is 21 years old and stands 6’0″ and weighs in at 207 lbs. Hubbard is a patient runner with good vision. The RotoHeat team, when putting together the Chuba Hubbard Fantasy Football Profile, believes he has the potential to succeed at the next level, but his inconsistency in pass protection likely limits him early in his career. The landing spot will be important for Hubbard, as his patient running style is best behind a good offensive line. It is likely that his fantasy managers will need to be patient with Hubbard.
