Chiefs get much needed O-line help by signing guard Joe Thuney to 5-year deal

A few days ago, the Chiefs surprisingly cut both their starting tackles, Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz, leaving them with an even bigger need for O-line help than previously anticipated.

By signing former Patriots LG Joe Thuney (a 5-year deal worth $80 million with $32.5 fully guaranteed) they start the revamp of their O-line with a top interior O-lineman.

Ever since Super Bowl 55, it has been evident that the Chiefs needed to address their O-line and get some protection for Superstar QB, Patrick Mahomes.
