2021 NFL Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire Adds

Some of you are ready to waive bye to the season already, while others are waivering on that line of playoff team or out of the picture. Whichever wave you are in, we have Week 13 Waiver Wire adds that can help you fill in bye week or slots open due to injuries.

We have four teams on bye this week and next week, and then thankfully we can say “bye” to 2021 bye weeks. If you aren’t sick of my wordpay yet, thank you for reading this far, and let’s get into those IDP waiver wire adds!

Bye Week Teams: Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans

Remember to always check your lineups before games start for late-breaking injuries and unexpected starters, and you can find the RotoHeat IDP scoring here.

2021 NFL Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Linebackers

2021 NFL Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Linebackers – Alex Anzalone

Kwon Alexander, Linebacker, New Orleans Saints
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%

Since coming back from injury in Week 7 Kwon has had a 62% snap share, which has risen to a 80% share the last two weeks. Since his Week 7 return he has 14 solos, 6 assists, 6 TFL, 2 PD, 1 sack, and 1 interception. He is a top 15 linebacker over the past four weeks and while Dallas (17th in points allowed to opposing linebackers) is not a great match-up, isn’t terrible either.

Alex Anzalone, Linebacker, Detroit Lions
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 3%

Alex has played 100% of the snaps for Detroit this year in all but Week 7 (94%). He is a top 50 linebacker on the year, but since their Week 9 bye he has 14 solos, 10 assists, and 4 PD. Week 13 brings the Vikings, who are eighth in points allowed to opposing linebackers.

Alex Highsmith, Linebacker, Pittsburgh Steelers
Ownership: Sleeper 3%, Yahoo 3%

Alex has a 76% snap share on the year, and an 84% snap share after their Week 7 bye. Since their bye he has 15 solos, 14 assists, 6 TFL, and 1.5 sacks. The Steelers play the Ravens in Week 12, who give up the second most points to opposing linebackers.

Mykal Walker, Linebacker, Atlanta Falcons
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%

A deep, contingent play here, as if Deion Jones is back you won’t want to start Walker. Walker saw 99% of the snaps with Jones out in Week 12, and had 6 solos, 6 assists and 1 PD. Tampa Bay (25th in points to opposing linebackers) in Week 13 isn’t a great matchup, but Walker would still be a worthwhile bye week/injury fill in, if Jones is out.

2021 NFL Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Backs

2021 NFL Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Backs – Kyle Fuller

Ronnie Harrison, Safety, Cleveland Browns
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%

For games he has played in and finished healthy/not been ejected from, Ronnie has an 88% snap share on the year. The Browns just played the Ravens in Week 12 and he finished with 11 solos, 3 assists, 1 PD, and 1 interception. Yes the Browns are on bye this week, but in Week 14 they face the Ravens again. I don’t expect the same stat line, but I do think he will have another great game, and it is always better to be early on a guy than late.

Will Harris, Safety, Detroit Lions
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%

Detroit plays Minnesota this week and the Vikings give up the ninth most points to opposing safetys on the year. Harris has had a decent, if uninspiring few weeks here. Since their Week 9 bye he has 13 solos, 4 assists, 1 forced fumble, 1 PD, and half a sack on a 92% snap share.

Kyle Fuller, Cornerback, Denver Broncos
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 1%

Kyle is having a down year after coming over from the Bears this offseason, as he had been a quality NFL cornerback in years prior. Normally we don’t feature such corners here as they tend to have less IDP value, and while Kyle has not had a great IDP season either he is in a great spot this week against the Chiefs, who give up the most points to opposing cornerbacks on the year. He has a 95% snap share on the year in games he has started and finished without injury, and coming off a great IDP game against the Chargers (8 solos, 1 assist, 1 TFL) look for another starter worthy game this week.

2021 NFL Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Linemen

2021 NFL Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Linemen – Trysten Hill

Frank Clark, Defensive End, Kansas City Chiefs
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 1%

A big name from years ago, Frank has not been able to get it going this year in Kansas City. Despite an 80% snap share in the 8 games he has played in he only has 10 solos, 4 assists, 2 TFL, 2 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles on the year. He is showing signs of life though, with a TFL or sack in three of his past four games. Week 13 brings the Denver Broncos who will have a hobbled Teddy Bridgewater or Drew Lock under center, and Denver gives up the 11th most points to opposing defensive ends this year. With the Chiefs defense looking better with Melvin Ingram added to the defensive line and Chris Jones moving back inside, this is a great spot for Frank.

Ronald Blair III, Defensive End/Defensive Tackle, New York Jets
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%

Ronald has only played in three games this year (Weeks 10, 11, and 12) but he has 4 solos, 11 assists, 1 TFL, and 1 sack in those games despite just a 47% snap share. His position will depend on your league format and site but he is mainly playing defensive end, and the Week 13 opponent of the Jets (the Eagles) give up the sixth most points to opposing defensive ends this year.

Trysten Hill, Defensive Tackle, Dallas Cowboys
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%

Like Ronald Balir, Hill has only played in three games this year for Dallas as he worked his way back from a torn ACL in October 2020. His snaps have increased each of the three games (28%, 41%, 45%) and in his most recent games against the Raiders he had 4 solos and 1 assist. Week 13 brings the Saints, who give up the second most points to opposing defensive tackles on the year.
**Please note Trysten is appealing a suspension stemming from the Thanksgiving Day game. If he is suspended you would obviously not want to start him. Osa Odighizuwa would be a solid play if Hill does sit.
