2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds

Welcome back to your Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds! We had a lot of injuries this week (TJ Watt, Chase Young, Whitey Mercilus, Richard Sherman, Trey Flowers and more) and a some big names (Minkah Fitzpatrick and Joey Bosa) are looking at missed time with COVID related absences coming up.

We only have two bye weeks, but there are always teams that can use bye week replacements and/or injury fill ins. We are here to help you find those, so let’s go look at what we have!

Bye Week Teams: Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams

Remember to always check your lineups before games start for late-breaking injuries and unexpected starters, and you can find the RotoHeat IDP scoring here.

2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Linebackers

2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Linebackers
2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Linebackers – Germaine Pratt

Davion Taylor, Linebacker, Philadelphia Eagles
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 4%

After a no snaps on defense in Week 3, Davion slowly ramped up his playing time each week to 72% in Week 9, and then had 70% in Week 10. At the moment he is the clear #2 linebacker in Philadelphia after TJ Edwards. In Week 9 he had 6 solos, 2 assists, and 1 TFL. In Week 10 he had 6 solos, 1 assist, and 2 forced fumbles.

As long as he continues to see about the same playing time he will have a shot a LB3 or flex value in leagues, and if you are looking for an injury or bye week fill in he is a decent play. New Orleans is not a great matchup (their Week 11 opponent) but with many bye weeks and better matchups coming up he is someone to be keeping an eye on.

Germaine Pratt, Linebacker, Cincinnati Bengals
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 2%

Pratt is the #2 linebacker on the Bengals this year after Logan Wilson. He is at a 58% snap share on the year, but over the past three games that has gone up to 77%. In those three games he has 13 solos, 2 assists, 2 TFL, 1 PD, and 1 INT. Week 11 brings the Raiders, who give up the third most points to opposing linebackers this year. Pratt is owned in many deep leagues, but in shallower, more standard starter IDP leagues he is likely available and should be a fine play this week.

Shaq Thompson, Linebacker, Carolina Panthers
Ownership: Sleeper 2%, Yahoo 12%

Shaq won’t be available in deeper leagues but after a slow start to the season and then being hurt, people in many leagues forgot about him. The past three weeks though he has stat lines of:

Week 8 = 8 solos, 2 assists, 1 TFL, 1 PD, and 1 INT
Week 9 = 6 solos, 4 assists, and 1 TFL
Week 10 = 4 solos, 2 assists, 1 TFL, 1 sack, and 2 PD

Shaq is clearly showing the linebacker we saw in 2020 and even more in 2019. He has rest of the season value, and is a fine play in Week 11 against Washington (18th in points allowed to opposing linebackers so far this year). He is still ramping up his playing time too, with a 71% share the past three games as opposed to 100% the first three games this year before getting hurt.

2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Backs

2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Backs
2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Backs – Jevon Holland

Jevon Holland, Safety, Miami Dolphins
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 4%

From Week 5 on Jevon has played in 100% of snaps he has been in except in Week 9; he only played on 99% of the snaps that game. Week 11 has the Dolphins playing the Jets, who give up the sixth most points to opposing safetys this year. Holland plays all over the field for the Dolphins and since Week 5 he has only missed at least 4 solos in one game out of six. He is most likely not available in dynasty leagues, but he is available in most redraft leagues and will hold rest of the season potential with how he has been playing.

Erik Harris, Safety, Atlanta Falcons
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 2%

A starter for the Falcons, Harris has a 91% snap share in the seven games he has played his year and has had at least 5 combined tackles in all but one game this year and at least 4 solos in all but one game this year. The Falcons play the Patriots in Week 11, and the New England gives up the most points to opposing safetys this year. For a player barely owned in IDP leagues, Harris is a nice safe floor play with a higher than normal upside this week.

William Jackson III, Cornerback, Washington Football Team
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%

Washington faces Carolina in Week 11, and Carolina gives up the 4th most points to opposing cornerbacks so far this year. Jackson is the #2 for Washington and a 97% snap share in games he has played this year. He has at least three solos in six out of seven games this year, and he is my weekly free cornerback choice for the week.

2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Linemen

2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Linemen
2021 NFL Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Adds: Defensive Linemen – Maliek Collins

Odafe Oweh, Defensive End/Edge/Outside Linebacker, Baltimore Ravens
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 4%

Oweh was the 31st pick in the 2021 NFL Draft for Baltimore, but it is taking him time to get acclimated to the NFL. After three sacks in his first five games he cooled off in Weeks 6, 7 and 9 (Week 8 was a bye) with only 1 solo tackle for stats. He has about a 66% snap share on the year and has shown the ability to do well in a good matchup.

His designation matters on the site and league format you have; I wouldn’t want to use him as LB, but as a DE or Edge player this week I like him against Chicago. Even with a bye in Week 10, the Bears still give up the most sacks to opposing teams; that isn’t even including TFLs and pressures. I think Odafe gets at least one more sack this week.

Casey Toohill, Defensive End, Washington Football Team
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%
James Smith-Williams, Defensive End, Washington Football Team
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%

With Montez Sweat still out with a jaw injury and Chase Young now unfortunately headed to IR with a torn ACL, Casey and James are the next men up for the Football Team at defensive end. These are two deep pulls as they have not done much this year as largely unused backup. I am not suggesting at this time that they are going to be weekly plays, but this week they may have some fantasy use.

The Panthers give up the most points to defensive ends so far this season. With Cam Newton likely taking over and Christiann McCaffrey back that may change a bit, but the Panthers still have a poor offensive line and there are points to be had here, as Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne on the inside will command more attention.

Maliek Collins, Defensive Tackle, Houston Texans
Ownership: Sleeper 0%, Yahoo 0%

Deep pick here. Collins has a 59% snap share on the year, but that is the highest on the year for a Houston DT. He has a TFL or sack in each of his past 3 games (Houston was on bye Week 10), and their Week 11 opponent, Tennessee, allows the most points to opposing defensive tackles this year. For a one week, likely free, play at DT I like Collins this week.
