2021 NFL Draft Pick 31: Ravens Select Jayson Oweh

With the 31st pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, Jayson Oweh was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens.

Jayson played in 20 games over three years at Penn State. During those years he had 63 tackles (37 solo), 13.5 TFL, seven sacks, two passes defended and two forced fumbles. He was named to the First Team All Big Ten after the 2020 season.

Fantasy Implications

Oweh is now a Raven and is a perfect pick for their team as he will be able to make an immediate impact on that defense. Oweh brings a rare blend of size and elite speed, and from a fantasy perspective he can make a case that he’s a top 12 IDP rookie when it’s all said and done. In the Ravens’ defense, he could play outside backer or defensive end, and that flexibility should give fantasy owners warm fuzzy feelings come rookie draft day!
