2021 NFL Draft Pick 147: Houston Texans Select Brevin Jordan

With the 147th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, Brevin Jordan was drafted by the Houston Texans.

After three year at Miami, Brevin Jordan ended his collegiate career with 105 receptions, 1,358 yards and 13 TDs. He was on the All-ACC First Team in 2019, and All-ACC Second Team in 2018 and 2020.

Fantasy Implications

The Houston Texans have decided to revamp their whole offense starting with Davis Mills, then Nico Collins and now Brevin Jordan. I think they got a steal in Jordan because he was a top ranked TE in this class. Jordan Atkins is the best TE in that TE room, which means Brevin could make an impact sooner than later.

With most TEs, I tend to suggest waiting a few years until you see production, but Jordan could see the field in his first year for the Texans. He’s got a TE2 ceiling in 2021, but could be a low-end TE1 in 2022 and beyond if Houston figures out their QB situation.
