Van Jefferson transferred from Ole Miss to Florida and has an NFL Pedigree as his dad is Shawn Jefferson. Jefferson is considered to be one of the better route runners in the draft. Jefferson was able to get 175 receptions for 2159 yards and 16 scores. Most of which came his last 2 years at the University of Florida. The Rams selected Jefferson 57th overall and might look for him to fill the hole that was left when they traded Brandin Cooks away. Jefferson will have to compete for targets against Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, Tyler Higbee, and even fellow rookie Cam Akers out of the backfield. Van Jefferson should be considered a WR4 with WR3 upside.
